Flagship Project
New Earth is a London based architectural charity. We're crowdsourcing suburban land and building the world's first human rights co-housing in Tower Hamlets - London's most deprived district.
London
"Tower Hamlets is London's poorest borough with a poverty rate of 39%"
Trust for London
Despite its proximity to London's financial district - sandwiched between the City of London and the prestigious Olympic Park in Newham - Tower Hamlets remains London's poorest borough. A recent surge of 'affordable' housing wasn't the solution to it's stubborn social issues.
Inclusive Co-housing
We will initially offer our social solution in East London and directly respond to the routine economic displacement that sweeps this city.
Once established, we'll have the exposure and publicity we need to roll these projects out worldwide. So where next? You decide...
Future Projects
Once we're up and running in London, we'll be counting your votes to help us decide the location of our next building...
Select a City...
We've short listed a mixture of international cities undergoing rapid regeneration and suffering from the polarising effects of capitalism.
